Hessle & District Badminton Club

The club was founded in 1961 at Penshurst School, Hessle as the 'Hessle & District Badminton Club' but moved to Wolfreton School, its current base, in 1966.

It is primarily an adult (18) club but juniors aged 13 can join provided they have an adult relative who is also a member to cover their welfare aspects. No coaching is provided so new members need to be able to play the game to a reasonable social standard. Club night is Tuesday evening from 6.00 to 9.00 pm (September to May).

The club has a number of teams in the Hull & District League for those members who want competitive play and also runs internal tournaments and social events for the benefit of members.
